An agender person identifies as not having a gender.
“I have experienced a long journey of trying to squeeze into other identities that never felt like home.
Now after discovering the freedom of being Agender I feel I can explore my gender presentation farther and experience greater euphoria. I have always just been me, and learning that I didn’t have to attach binary terms to myself gave me strength and serenity for the first time after 21 years.
I never felt attracted to other labels because they felt as if there was a certain impossible image I was fighting to attain, and now finally I can breathe a sigh of relief because there are endless possibilities for me instead of a tight lipped box. I can shapeshift and be authentically whatever and whoever I please.”
